Another point he is highlight, you can don't bother some of your users take advantage to you, since the software price is not much and they will for sure come back to you for support, this is true, but with the small lose, this may make also you lose the opportunity, your software is good but already being reverse engineering by others who is smarter than you or who foreseen the opportunity earlier than you, then you lose the opportunities and no people will contact you, you are losing the business opportunities.
